Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Field Operator to join our team at Omega Project Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our process units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control process conditions to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Identify and troubleshoot abnormal operational events
  • Support maintenance schedules and prepare equipment for scheduled work
  • Develop and review procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Complete and review e-Log entries to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Conduct regular walk-arounds and participate in formal safety audits to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform regulatory compliance checks and reporting requirements
  • Support commissioning and start-up of new equipment and processes
  • Contribute to a work environment that supports a motivated and productive team
  • Evaluate and escalate issues that require higher authority for input and resolution

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of operating experience
  • Relevant industry experience an asset
  • Preference for Fourth Class Certificate with progression towards Third or Second Class Steam Certification
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
