We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team in Surrey, BC. As a key member of our staff, you will provide support and care to individuals with diverse needs.

Job Summary:

This part-time role involves providing 17.5 hours of weekly support to clients in a residential setting. You will work closely with the Office Coordinator to ensure high-quality service delivery.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for supporting others. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized support to clients based on their needs and goals
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A diploma in a related field (e.g., social work, child and youth care) or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the program
