Role Summary
Frazer Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Pharmacy Production Centre. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of medication orders, preparing and processing prescriptions, and maintaining stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Processing clinically reviewed and approved medication orders for distribution to patients, clients, or residents.
  2. Receiving prescriptions from practitioners and verifying allergy status and demographics.
  3. Preparing and processing prescriptions, including counting, measuring, packaging, or re-packaging medications, and compounding sterile pharmaceutical products.
  4. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of dispensed prescriptions prepared by self or others.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Grade 12 education and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
