Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver outstanding culinary results.
Responsibilities- Chef Management: Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced environment.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory, and ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
- Menu Planning: Organize buffets and banquets, manage kitchen operations, and plan menus to meet customer demands.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a head chef or similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, client focus, dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, time management, and teamwork skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be able to work under pressure, and be physically demanding. Overtime may be required.
