Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at National Port Security Services Inc.
Job Summary:The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the safety and security of our employees, customers, and assets. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and maintain the security of our facilities, including the detection and prevention of security breaches.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our employees and assets.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective security program.
- Provide training and guidance to security personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and other external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a security supervisory role.
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
