Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Trandafir, Laura Catalina. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered, mixing and applying adhesives, and setting tiles in place.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, measuring, and marking them.
- Mix and apply adhesives to surfaces, ensuring a strong bond between the tile and the surface.
- Set tiles in place, using a combination of hand tools and power tools to ensure a precise fit.
- Align and straighten tiles to ensure a uniform appearance.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, ensuring a seamless finish.
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
- Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects.
- Install tile strips to create a seamless transition between tiles.
- 1-2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Reliability and ability to work independently.
