Job Title: Head of Markets and Trading

BMO Capital Markets is a leading financial services provider offering corporate and investment banking, treasury management, and research and advisory services to clients worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our markets and trading team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement portfolio strategies to achieve target risk and return profiles for the Global Markets Investment and Liquidity Portfolio.
  • Work closely with Global Markets teams and other Investment PMs to ensure macro and idiosyncratic risk is aligned globally.
  • Maximize profit while prudently minimizing the bank's exposure for liquidity needs and adhering to regulatory statutes.
  • Cultivate relative value and trading ideas across Fixed Income asset classes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in trading and managing risk within Fixed Income markets.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in financial services, accounting, or legal fields.
  • Ability to think conceptually and achieve both short and long-term business results.
