Responsibilities

The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for providing transport cost budgets, developing transportation strategies, managing on-time deliveries, and mitigating any risks to ensure timely deliveries. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Logistics, the Logistics Team, and Customer Service teams to identify customer requirements and opportunities for transportation efficiencies. Key responsibilities include:

* Analyzing and negotiating freight rates and contracts with carriers
* Coordinating the movement of loads from Distribution Centres to customers
* Managing relationships with carriers, monitoring carrier performance, and defining working strategies
* Preparing regular reports to Management on cost and performance of transportation
* Supporting efforts to improve stock-transfer on-time delivery and truckload utilization
