Care Coordinator Role
The Care Coordinator is a vital member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and welcoming service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
- Coordinate patient intake, data entry, and scheduling, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Assist patients with completing paperwork, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
- Manage patient medical records, maintaining confidentiality and security.
- Process payments and track funding streams, ensuring seamless billing and reimbursement.
- Coordinate courier packages, email, mail, and faxes, maintaining efficient communication.
- Support the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director, providing administrative assistance as needed.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
- High degree of organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Experience in a Physiotherapy clinic an asset.
