Job Title: Package Handler

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Package Handler to join our team at Packaging Depot. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for maintaining address databases, printing and photocopying materials, producing customized labels, and addressing customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date address databases
  • Print and photocopy materials as needed
  • Produce customized labels for letters, parcels, and packages
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Operate and maintain print shop and mailing house equipment
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
  • Receive payments from customers and record daily transactions
  • Sort mail according to destination and weigh outgoing mail
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a mailroom or shipping environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced mailroom environment
  • May be required to work in a physically demanding environment
  • May be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Language: English

Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week
