Job Title: EAP Counsellor

Homewood Health is seeking registered mental health professionals to provide short-term, solution-oriented counselling services for our Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) in London or St. Thomas, Ontario.

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced counsellors to deliver high-quality, focused counselling services to address a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, stress management, and addictions. Our ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a counselling-related field, registration with a regulatory college, and 3 years of experience in counselling or social services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide short-term, solution-focused counselling to address various concerns
  • Work with adult individuals, couples, families, and children
  • Offer telephonic counselling for clients in crisis
  • Adhere to professional standards and best practices
  • Participate in in-house training and meetings as required
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a counselling-related field
  • Registration with a regulatory college or body
  • 3 years of experience in counselling or social services
  • Experience working in the EFAP field is an asset
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Written and verbal French language fluency is an asset
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
