At Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our General Contracting division, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects from pre-construction to completion.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in the ICI or Condo/Apartment Building industry. They will also possess a strong understanding of CCDC Contracts and Construction Law.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and results-driven individual with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. They will be able to effectively communicate with clients, trade partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion.
  • Prepare regular, timely, and accurate billings for owners.
  • Meet with owners and consulting teams in a professional manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date project information using Autodesk Build project management software.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in the ICI or Condo/Apartment Building industry.
  • Architectural or Engineering diploma or degree is considered an asset.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of CCDC Contracts and Construction Law.
  • A passion for interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership development.
