Job Title: Liquor Store Associate

At Otter Co-op, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Liquor Store Associate to join our team at our North Burnaby location.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Liquor Store Associate who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has a strong understanding of our products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing transactions, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, and activate gift cards
  • Ensure register drawers are balanced at the end of shift following company procedures
  • Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves
  • Receive, check, and put away deliveries
  • Keep store and storage areas clean and organized
  • Utilize product knowledge to promote sales
  • Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence
Requirements
  • Liquor retail experience is preferred
  • Serving it Right license is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to physically lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for full 8-hour shifts
