About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team as an Associate. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for leading the commissioning process and department, working closely with our engineering and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning Project Lead: Oversee the commissioning process for various projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Commissioning Team Management: Lead and manage a team of commissioning engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team success.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to secure new projects.
  • Client Interface: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Project Execution: Execute project assignments, including preparing commissioning test procedures, developing and maintaining commissioning logs, and writing comprehensive reports.
Requirements
  • 8+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 5+ years working with Canadian building codes and standards.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience, with a strong track record of mentoring junior staff and leading teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, and CRAC units, as well as experience with commissioning and testing procedures.
  • Registration and Certification: Registered EIT or Licensed Engineer with APEGA or a relevant association is strongly preferred.
