We are seeking a highly skilled Content Editor to join our team at Abler HD Canada INC. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, broadcast, or publication on the internet. Your duties will include making decisions on the significance of copy and what to implement, planning the layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations, and publishing text for distribution. You will also be responsible for detecting and correcting errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, as well as shortening or lengthening copy as needed. Additionally, you will plan coverage of upcoming events and assign work accordingly, negotiate royalties with authors and initiate payments to freelance staff, and confer with authors, staff writers, reporters, and others regarding revisions to copy. You will also plan and coordinate activities of staff and ensure production deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of language and be able to communicate effectively. Key Responsibilities
