Job Title: Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team at The Ottawa Fertility Centre. As a Sonographer, you will play a critical role in the Centre's vision of becoming nationally recognized as Canada's premier centre for reproductive medical care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations during fertility treatments and investigations, adhering to AIUM standards for gynecology and early obstetrical ultrasound.
  • Accurately and consistently measure fertility-related sonographic features, including follicle diameters, endometrial thickness, and antral follicle counts.
  • Provide trans-abdominal guidance for embryo transfers.
  • Input examination results into PACS for physician reporting.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of ultrasound services, procedures, and standards in the Centre.
Requirements:
  • Current CMRITO license – DMS.
  • Current and up-to-date Sonography Canada registration required or equivalent.
  • Certification as CRGS or RDMS (OB GYN) desirable.
  • Current BLS required.
  • Experience and comfort with transvaginal sonography.
  • Oral, written, and reading comprehension in both English and French is considered an asset.
