Environmental Project Manager

We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter with 5 years of experience in environmental site assessment and consulting services to join our team as a Project Manager - Environmental Services. This person will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), excess soil, remediation projects, and related environmental studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Proposal preparation, budget tracking, cost control, and invoicing
- Liaising with contractors and clients
- Approximately 30% field work, including Phase 1 Site Assessments
- Evaluating data and proposing solutions
- Preparing technical reports and reviewing technical work of other staff
- Training and mentoring junior staff
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of the applicable provincial and federal legislation and guidance documents, as well as experience in budget management, report preparation, and client relationship management. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required. Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and put forth creative solutions is essential.
