Senior Software Engineer

Source Code is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to drive impactful solutions for intricate business challenges in a dynamic and high-energy delivery setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in cross-functional technical design sessions to identify and document technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to share best practices and knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Function as a trusted advisor with a consultative mindset in interactions with stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality of applications by using various types of automated testing methods in a continuous integration environment.
  • Resolve defects/bugs during pre-production, production, and post-release patches.
  • Drive continual improvement to the efficiency and flexibility of systems while maintaining a high bar for customer trust, performance, and availability.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Deep expertise in microservices architectures and design patterns.
  • Experience using tools including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, etc.
  • Proficient in debugging and profiling distributed systems.
  • Agile and test-driven development mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to serverless development/deployment and containerization.
  • Experience in financial services domains.
  • Experience with Azure Functions or AWS Lambdas within microservice architecture.

Work Arrangement:

No remote work.
