Concrete Finisher

At Province wide contracting Inc., we are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces. This includes filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, operating power vibrators to compact concrete, and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
Work Site EnvironmentAs a Concrete Finisher, you will be working in a variety of environments, including dusty, hot, noisy, and wet/damp conditions. You will also be working outdoors and may be required to work at remote locations.
Work SettingOur Concrete Finishers work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. You will be working on-site with customers and may be required to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
- Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Or equivalent experience
- Physically demanding work environment
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail
- Accurate and reliable
- Team player
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 to 44 hours per week
- English language work environment
