Job Summary

CHELA TRANSPORT LTD is seeking a highly skilled Excavation Site Supervisor to oversee the operation of heavy equipment and manage a team of workers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction and experience in supervising large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Prepare bids and production reports
  • Recruit and hire workers and manage staffing actions
  • Coordinate and schedule activities with other project supervisors
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition materials and supplies
  • Supervise workers and projects
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction
  • Ability to work in a dangerous, dusty, noisy, and odorous environment
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Experience in demolition, equipment operation, and excavation
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Reliability and dependability
