Job Summary

BEM Construction is seeking a skilled Steel Framer to join our team. As a Steel Framer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Work Environment

You will work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments. You will be required to travel to various locations, including construction sites, and be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Travel to various locations, including construction sites, and be willing to relocate.
  • Handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Meet tight deadlines and work overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat are required.
  • You must be a team player and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must be able to speak English fluently.
  • You must be available to work 30 hours per week.
