About the Role:

As a Physiotherapist I with Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services. Your expertise will enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence in development, disease, disability, chronic conditions, illness, and functional decline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to determine, implement, and evaluate appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
  • Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and professional community through peer mentoring and student supervision.
  • May provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants, Therapy Aides, and Provisional Physiotherapists.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Completed and up-to-date BLS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • As required.
