Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Plan, supervise, and execute compilation, review, and audit engagements, including preparation of financial statements and applicable tax filings.
  • Client Advisory Services: Provide client advisory services such as analyzing financial information, accounting processes, and operational procedures, and offering feedback, tax, and estate planning.
  • Project Management: Manage projects, budgets, and billings, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior-level team members, including file review and tax planning duties.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain client relationships, including developing new client leads through community involvement and networking.
Requirements:
  • CPA designation with a minimum of 2 years of experience in public practice post-designation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and tax fundamentals.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively to resolve client issues and close sales.
  • Inspiring leadership skills, including integrity, respect for others, resilience, and the drive to succeed through the team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as CaseWare, Microsoft 365, TaxPrep, Xero, QBO, and other relevant software.
