Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Summary:
Ludwig Transport Limited is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
* Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
* Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
* Load and unload goods.
* Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
* Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
* Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
* Perform emergency roadside repairs.
* Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
* Perform preventive maintenance.
* Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
* Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
* Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Requirements:

* AZ class license.
* Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.

Work Environment:

* The work environment is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.
* The ability to handle heavy loads and work in a large workload environment is essential.
* The ability to sit for extended periods is also required.
* The weight handling capacity is up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
