Key Responsibilities
  • Field Surveys: Conduct field surveys to collect data and measurements, using a variety of survey instruments and equipment.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and measurements to ensure accuracy and precision, using software such as MicroStation.
  • Survey Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating field surveys, including determining the most efficient routes and methods for data collection.
  • Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports and notes on survey activities, including measurements, observations, and conclusions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with survey engineers and professional surveyors to develop methods and procedures for conducting field surveys.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
