Job Title: Biomedical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineering Technologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Biomedical Engineering Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical devices and equipment in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for medical devices and equipment used in patient care areas
  • Ensure that all medical devices and equipment are maintained at a high level of efficiency and safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve technical issues and improve patient care
  • Develop and implement procedures for the maintenance and repair of medical devices and equipment
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an Electronics Technology or Biomedical Engineering Technology program from an accredited institution
  • Registration with CTTAM (Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba Inc.)
  • Experience in clinical or biomedical engineering preferred
