About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at 727190.NB. As a Financial Officer, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Financial Planning and Control: Develop and implement financial plans and controls to ensure the effective management of our financial resources.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a financial role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, organized, reliable, team player, and strong time management skills.
