Construction Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Continental Design & Building Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress and site activities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople
- Coordinate and schedule site activities, including material deliveries and equipment rentals
- Oversee the training and development of apprentices and junior staff members
- Recruit and hire new staff members, as needed
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site, with occasional travel to other locations as needed.
