Job Title: Food Services Manager - Operations Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Services Manager to lead our restaurant operations team at KOGANEI JAPANESE SEAFOOD. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring staff performance, planning and organizing daily operations, and ensuring the highest level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and efficiency
- Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
- Conduct performance reviews and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions:
- 30 hours per week
- Permanent position
- English language
