Job Summary

Eldho's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a skilled Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring that customer service is exceptional, and sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance.
  • Hire, train, and arrange for the training of staff as needed.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and manage inventory levels.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that store operations run smoothly.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that products are displayed attractively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
