About the Role

Dexcent Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Industrial SCADA Solutions Architect to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and integrating SCADA systems using AVEVA software.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to meet operational and security needs, as well as providing technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • SCADA System Design: Develop comprehensive SCADA system architectures that meet the specific needs of the organization, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and system designs.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to enhance the SCADA system's performance and capabilities.
  • Design Documentation: Create detailed design documents, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • AVEVA Enterprise SCADA Configuration: Lead the configuration and customization of AVEVA Enterprise SCADA software to meet the organization's requirements.
  • System Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces to integrate SCADA systems with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, MES, and data analytics platforms.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of SCADA systems to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards.
  • Deployment and Support: Oversee the deployment of SCADA systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and a smooth transition to the new system.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications related to AVEVA Enterprise SCADA systems and cyber security.
  • Experience with related AVEVA products and industry-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and integrating Enterprise SCADA systems.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices and standards for industrial control systems.
  • Excellent technical management and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
