Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Biological Technologist to join our team at UniQ BioTech Ltd. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological, biochemical tests and laboratory analyses, as well as setting up and conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microbiological, biochemical tests and laboratory analyses to support research and development initiatives.
  • Set up and conduct biological tests and laboratory analyses to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct field research and surveys to collect data and samples, as required.
  • Supervise operational programs to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory setting, with exposure to biological and chemical agents.
