About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at Bath & Body Works. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and sales results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume leadership of sales teams and provide guidance and support to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Provide individual and team feedback and make recommendations to management.
  • Train, coach, recognize, and motivate sales associates to improve sales and customer experience.
  • Establish sales, productivity, and result goals for each sales associate and reinforce these goals.
  • Model sales and customer service behaviors and expectations.
  • Establish daily and shift goals and objectives for sales associates when they arrive at work.
  • Foster a loyal and satisfied customer base through interaction, conversion, and email capture.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including bank deposits and receiving shipments.
  • Analyze and disseminate company directives.
  • Act as a store manager as scheduled, to support customer service, work with vendors, or address maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team (SLT) to support action plans that optimize results and ensure effective operational activities.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in achieving sales results.
  • Ability to communicate and foster a customer-centric sales culture.
  • Ability to train sales associates in real-time and effectively.
  • Availability for varied shifts, including weekends, closing, and peak periods.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in retail sales.

Education

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
