Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Autism Tutor. As a member of our team, you will work one-on-one with children and families, teaching important skills in all life areas based on individualized goals. You will apply creativity to deliver programs in fun and interesting ways in a St. Amant classroom or in a community setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ABA intervention to assigned children under the direction of the Autism Consultant and Senior Tutor.
  • Attend team meetings and workshops.
  • Collect data and information regarding the child's progress.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure coordination and integrity of services.
  • Communicate with child's family regarding the child's progress, care, and well-being.
  • Support and assist child to participate in daily activities, self-care, and personal care when needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
