Dental Lab CAD Technician Job Description

Hallmark Dental Laboratory, a leading dental lab in Atlantic Canada, is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in designing high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, veneers, and implant-supported restorations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create dental orders in 3Shape design software
  • Digital model problem-solving, including file type conversions and occlusion optimization
  • Design single-unit crowns and veneers
  • 3D smile design for digital wax-up and case presentation
  • Design multi-unit cases on implant level and abutment level records
  • Communicate with software technical support for troubleshooting and smooth operation
Requirements:
  • Dental implant experience is essential
  • Dental CAD experience is essential
  • 3Shape Design experience is preferred; advanced CAD experience in any platform will be considered
  • Proficiency in keeping detailed records and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge of dental procedures and equipment
  • Written and verbal communication skills
