About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Specialist to join our team at Stephanie Manipol. As a Child Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Supervision: Safely supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Assist with household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Travel and Transportation: Accompany families on trips and transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children.
  • Rest and Sleep Routine: Help establish and maintain a consistent rest and sleep routine for children.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Provide basic first aid and respond to emergencies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking home-based setting.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home, with room and board provided.
