About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Jansal Trucking INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Repair or Replace Mechanical Units: Repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring accurate and transparent billing.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Advise Customers on Work Performed: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and have relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
