Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

Red River Transport is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient cargo handling
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license check and driving record check (abstract)
  • Willingness to travel cross-border, extended periods, and overnight
  • Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work
