Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Newtech Truck Repair. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.
Work Environment:

As a Welder at Newtech Truck Repair, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
