Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

At destinationone Consulting, we're seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a diagnostic imaging specialist, you'll play a crucial role in capturing high-quality images of internal organs using advanced ultrasound technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain the process in a clear and concise manner.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of internal organs, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Analyze images and report findings to physicians, providing valuable insights for patient care.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound machines to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Educate patients on the ultrasound process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification from ARRT or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
