About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Menard Canada Inc. as a key member of our construction project management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze reports and provide expert recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve project delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction project management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
