Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, guiding their skills and ensuring the quality of the team.
  • Design software architecture to meet planned requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Determine and deliver accurate design and development time estimates, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Design and implement user-friendly software components, focusing on ease of use and maintainability.
  • Integrate components with the whole application, ensuring a cohesive and efficient system.
  • Write high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement integration and unit tests, ensuring thorough testing and validation of software components.
  • Fix any bugs found in the software programming, prioritizing swift resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Prototype user interface components, exploring innovative solutions and user experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and development of products, with a strong focus on software architecture and leadership.
  • Experience in leading a small team, with a proven track record of success and team growth.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development, using C++ and other relevant programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS X platforms and 3D graphics.
  • Knowledge of application development using the Qt C++ toolkit is an asset.
  • Autodidact with a passion for high-tech innovation and a drive to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
