Key Responsibilities
  • Security and Safety
    • Monitor and control access to the store, ensuring the safety and security of customers and employees.
    • Respond to security and safety incidents in a timely and effective manner.
    • Conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Loss Prevention
    • Develop and implement strategies to prevent loss and protect assets.
    • Conduct investigations into incidents of loss or theft.
    • Collaborate with the Loss Prevention team to identify and address areas of vulnerability.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and safe shopping experience.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the store team to ensure a safe and secure environment.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address areas of vulnerability.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a security services position in a retail setting.
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of workplace safety and emergency procedures.
    • Previous experience in Loss Prevention.
    • Valid first aid and CPR certificates.
    • Security Guard License, or willingness to acquire required licensing.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Team player with a proven growth mindset.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Meticulous record keeping, report writing, and observation skills.
    • Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
