Job Description- Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year
- This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week
- The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking and supervision
- Supervise workers and projects: Oversee daily operations, ensure efficient workflow, and motivate team members to achieve goals
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities: Plan and manage production schedules, resource allocation, and workload distribution
- Prepare production and other reports: Maintain accurate records, track progress, and analyze performance metrics
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies: Source and procure necessary resources to meet production demands
- Read blueprints and drawings: Interpret technical documents to inform decision-making and guide team members
- Education: Post-secondary diploma or certificate in a relevant field (e.g., carpentry, woodworking)
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a woodworking or manufacturing environment
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
