As a Senior Enterprise Architect at ICBC, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's IT strategy and ensuring the successful migration of our systems to the cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented and diverse team that is driven to serve our customers and community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement architectural practices and technologies to support ICBC's strategic migration to cloud.
- Drive or lead on-premises technical solution migration to cloud initiatives, including new solutions built natively in the cloud and migrating existing workloads to the cloud.
- Collaborate with IT and business partners to deliver IT strategies, IT strategic planning, and IT advisory services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reference architectures and technology standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive technology and architectural decisions.
- Expertise in cloud computing, architecture, and migration.
- Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as TOGAF and SAFe.
- Experience with cloud security standards, including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and ISO 27001/2.
- Knowledge of data privacy requirements, including FOIPPA and provincial and federal regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Work ArrangementsWe offer a range of work arrangements to suit different needs, including:
- Resident: Work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
- Hybrid 8: Work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week) and the remaining days remotely within British Columbia.
- Hybrid 10: Work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week) and the remaining days remotely within British Columbia.
- Mobile: Work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia.
