Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Safran Landing Systems, you will be responsible for conducting audits at supplier facilities to ensure compliance with Safran and Safran Landing Systems quality requirements. Your role will involve defining corrective actions (CAR) resulting from audit findings and ensuring continued compliance of suppliers with Safran and Safran LS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits at supplier facilities to assess compliance with quality requirements
  • Define corrective actions (CAR) resulting from audit findings
  • Ensure continued compliance of suppliers with Safran and Safran LS requirements
  • Liaise with SPMs to manage audit preparation, review document frameworks, and track completion of CARs/SCARS
  • Assess supplier compliance with Safran and Safran LS requirements and ISO-9001/AS-9100 Quality System
  • Identify necessary training needs at suppliers and implement quality actions to ensure customer and Safran requirements are met

Requirements

  • Relevant university degree (e.g. Supply Chain, Business, Engineering Technologist or Operations Management)
  • 5+ years of progressive quality experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing environment and project management experience
  • Experience in/knowledge of raw materials and forgings and special processes an asset
  • Fluent in English, French an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strongly organized, rigorous and results-oriented personality
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, analytically, and synthetically
