Job Description
Manulife is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Global Data Vendor Management team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in contract management, vendor relationships, and process optimization. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve vendor management, reduce costs, and enhance the overall efficiency of our global data technology operations.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to navigate complex processes, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and drive results-oriented solutions. This role will be hybrid, with opportunities to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement vendor management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including IT, procurement, and finance teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and manage vendor contracts, including negotiations, renewals, and terminations.
- Lead the development of vendor management policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on vendor management best practices.
- Monitor and report on vendor performance, including metrics on cost savings, service quality, and compliance.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in contract management, vendor relationships, and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of financial services industry and global data technology operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with ability to develop and implement results-oriented solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex processes.
- Experience working with Asia teams is a plus.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Toronto, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between $103,050.00 CAD - $185,490.00 CAD
