Quality Assurance Manager for Food Safety

This is a challenging opportunity for a dedicated individual to oversee and implement effective food safety and quality assurance strategies. You will be responsible for monitoring production processes, identifying potential risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute solutions that align with regulatory requirements and our company's policies. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain robust food safety and quality systems aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established protocols and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with production teams, management, and external partners to resolve issues, address deviations, and implement corrective actions.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety and quality procedures, emphasizing adherence to our company's values and standards.
* Foster a culture of transparency, open communication, and accountability throughout the organization, encouraging employees to speak up when concerns arise.
Requirements:
* A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Quality Assurance, Microbiology) or equivalent experience in a related industry.
* Proven track record of success in a quality assurance or food safety role, with expertise in implementing and maintaining HACCP, GMPs, and other relevant programs.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including CFIA guidelines and industry best practices.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and developing team members to achieve shared goals.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and initiatives as needed.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
