Job Summary:

Marwood International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Press Operator Team Leader to join our team in Tillsonburg, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of press operators and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our stamping and press equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of press operators and provide guidance and support to ensure the achievement of production targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders to coordinate manpower and ensure effective communication across shifts.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics, including hourly targets and shipping requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and report any incidents or near misses.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in stamping and press operations, with a strong background in team leadership and training.
  • Grade 12 or GED, with a focus on technical skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
