Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Child Psychologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to children and youth involved in the criminal justice system, including assessment and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and youth to inform treatment and intervention plans.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address a range of mental health and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide consultation and support to children, youth, and their families.
  • Provide expert testimony in court proceedings as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of clinical child psychology.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Psychological Association of Manitoba.
  • Experience working with children and youth in a clinical or forensic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
